A Basketball Tribute in Downtown Cleveland
The Cleveland Cavaliers marked the anniversary of their 2016 championship by unveiling a new outdoor basketball court in downtown Cleveland. The venue, located at the Meet Me Here Plaza on East Fourth Street and Huron Road, is the city’s only publicly accessible outdoor basketball court. Former Cavs legends Campy Russell, Larry Nance, Elmore Smith, Jim Chones and Booby Gibson attended the ceremony, signing postcards and memorabilia for fans.
Adding a musical note to the summer, The Strokes performed at the Blossom Music Center as part of their Reality Awaits world tour, delivering classic hits like “Last Nite” and “Someday” alongside fresh material from an upcoming album.
