Four-star offensive lineman Niko Kampas, a German native who currently trains at the NFL Academy in London, stepped onto the campus of the University of Tennessee this past weekend for an official visit, sparking renewed excitement among the Volunteers’ coaching staff and fan base.
Ranked as the No. 27 offensive tackle in the 2027 recruiting cycle and the top prospect from England, Kampas brings a 6‑foot‑7.5, 294‑pound frame that scouts describe as elite, with the athleticism to excel at the Power Four level.
A Global Talent Search
During the visit, Kampas toured the Knoxville facility, met with position coaches, and observed the program’s recent developments, while also taking note of Tennessee’s 16 commitments already secured in the 2027 class, a group that currently sits at No. 42 nationally.
The trip marks the latest in a series of official visits for the German standout, who has also spent time at Auburn, Michigan, and Vanderbilt, and who holds offers from a host of Power Four programs including Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Washington, West Virginia, North Carolina, Duke, and Illinois.
