A New Chapter for the Ottawa 67’s
The Ottawa 67’s announced today that forward Colby Coombe has inked an Ontario Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement, cementing his place on the club’s roster for the upcoming campaign.
At 6‑foot‑3 and 205 pounds, Coombe brings a blend of size and skill that helped the Chicago Reapers reach the USA Hockey U‑16 Nationals, where he contributed two goals and an assist.
During the 2025‑26 season he recorded 35 goals and 33 assists for 68 points across 57 games with the Reapers 16U AAA, a performance that earned him the 207th overall selection in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection.
Coombe, a native of Shelby Township, Michigan, expressed enthusiasm about the move, stating he is eager to join the team and grateful to those who have supported his journey.
General manager Jan Egert highlighted the forward’s work ethic and offensive upside, noting that his left‑handed shot and competitive drive align with the club’s vision.
