Bulldogs Secure Key Additions
Louisiana Tech University has added two promising players to its baseball program, outfielder Bryce Adams and catcher/utility Clint Seymore, each bringing a blend of power, speed, and defensive versatility.
Adams arrives after a standout season at Wabash Valley College, where he posted a .478 batting average, hit 11 home runs and stole 23 bases. The 6‑foot outfielder also earned NJCAA Region 24 Gold Glove honors and was a 6A state champion and Player of the Year at Etowah High School.
A Versatile Weapon in the Making
Seymore, a 6‑foot‑1‑inch catcher/utility player, carries a career batting average of .395 and has logged strong numbers at the collegiate level, including .394 at Columbia State Community College and .398 at Wallace State Community College. His high school career at Loretto High School featured All‑State honors in baseball, a record 1,200 receiving yards in football, and a state championship.
Coach Lane Burroughs highlighted the signings as a strategic move to deepen the Bulldogs’ lineup and add flexibility in the field. Both players are expected to contribute immediately, providing the program with proven hitters and reliable defensive options as the team looks toward the upcoming season.
