A Class of Legends and Leaders
The Hockey Hall of Fame unveiled its 2026 induction class, a blend of on‑ice greats and a visionary executive whose impact stretched beyond the rink.
Patrice Bergeron, a 19‑year stalwart of the Boston Bruins, enters the hall after a career that produced a Stanley Cup in 2011, six Selke Trophy awards and a place in the Triple Gold Club.
Carey Price, who guarded the net for the Montreal Canadiens, will be remembered for leading Canada to a gold medal at the 2014 Olympics and capturing both the Vezina and Hart Trophies in 2014‑15.
Pekka Rinne, the long‑time netminder of the Nashville Predators, is set to be honored for guiding his team to the Stanley Cup Final in 2017 and earning the Vezina Trophy a year later.
Keith Tkachuk, who amassed 538 NHL goals and was a key figure in the inaugural World Cup of Hockey victory in 1996, joins the class alongside Cindy Curley, a pioneer of women’s hockey who captained Team USA in the early IIHF Women’s World Championships.
Builder Brian Burke, whose executive acumen helped the Anaheim Ducks secure a Stanley Cup in 2007, rounds out the class, underscoring the breadth of contributions honored this year.
