Youngstown State University has released its 2026 women’s soccer schedule, a 18‑match slate that blends a rugged non‑conference road swing with a nine‑game home stretch at Farmers National Bank Field.
Non‑conference road tests
The season opens with two away fixtures against Atlantic Coast Conference power Pittsburgh on August 12 and Big Ten rival Indiana on August 16, before the Penguins host their first home opponents, Kent State on August 20 and Eastern Kentucky on August 23.
A three‑game road stretch follows, taking the team to Miami (Ohio) on August 30, to the University of Florida on September 3 and to South Florida on September 6, testing the squad early against strong regional competition.
After a brief homecoming against Duquesne on September 10 and a matchup with Navy on September 13, Youngstown State will begin Horizon League play on the road at Northern Kentucky on September 19, then host Cleveland State on September 24 and Purdue Fort Wayne on September 27.
The final stretch of the regular season sees the Penguins traveling for four of the last five contests, including visits to Wright State on October 10, Milwaukee on October 15, Green Bay on October 18, and a showdown with Northern Illinois on October 22 before closing the schedule against IU Indy on October 25 and Robert Morris on October 31 in Moon Township, Pennsylvania.
The Horizon League Women’s Soccer Championship is slated for early November, with first‑round matches on November 7, semifinals on November 11 and the title game on November 14, providing a clear endpoint to the campaign.
