Kade Milleville Earns 2026 ACHS Baseball Scholarship

Funded by Alan and Karen Whitt, the award will support his physical therapy studies at Lake Land College.

A Scholarship With a Legacy

The Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation has named Kade Milleville as the 2026 recipient of the ACHS Baseball Scholarship, an award created by philanthropists Alan and Karen Whitt to help student‑athletes pursue higher education.

Milleville graduated from Altamont Community High School after a four‑year varsity baseball career, during which he honed his skills on the diamond and contributed to the school’s athletic tradition.

He will now attend Lake Land College, where he plans to earn a degree in physical therapy, a path that aligns with his interest in helping athletes recover from injury.

Roots of the Award

The scholarship was established by Alan and Karen Whitt to provide financial support to young athletes who demonstrate both sporting talent and academic promise. Their commitment reflects a broader vision of investing in the next generation of community leaders.

Beyond this single award, the foundation administers more than 200 funds that benefit a range of initiatives across southeastern Illinois, reinforcing its role as a catalyst for regional development.
