The Middle Atlantic Conference announced its 2025‑26 Winter Academic Honor Roll this week, spotlighting a cohort of student‑athletes who have distinguished themselves through both athletic performance and academic achievement.
Honoring Dual Excellence
Eligibility required participation at the varsity level and a spring semester GPA of at least 3.20, a standard that underscores the conference’s commitment to scholarly rigor.
A total of 61 DeSales University athletes earned the distinction, spanning the four winter sports sponsored by the league and reflecting the institution’s emphasis on well‑rounded development.
Men’s basketball contributed a notable group of honorees, including Riley Buzby, Aiden Leo, Chukwudi Mamah, Will Meeker and Ty Mishock, while the women’s basketball awardees featured Mikaili Donmoyer, Mackenzie Gordos, Kayla Ishigami, Julia Kowalski, Marissa LaVerghetta, Keara McCaffrey, Emma O'Hare, Aubrey Pollard, Emma Pyne, Mia Stock and Sammi White.
The indoor track contingent was equally impressive, with athletes such as Jozef Callano, Jonathan Castronovo, Tyler Cloidt, Cody Doskocil, Jonathan Eudja, Bryce Guthier, Javell McMichael, John Murphy, Aidan Phillips, Bryce Phillips, Alex Porambo, Tanner Riefenstahl, Weston Simak, Peter Skulski, Bryce Solly, Cooper Stutz, John Tavani, Davis Trump, Del Tyler, James Viglianti and Joey Wilson all receiving academic honors.
Women’s track recipients, including Sophia Amoretti, Brooke Bleam, Danielle Boland, Ashley Carrier, Mary Cook, Catherine Crampton, Abby Durbano, Megan Fornwalt, Meaghan Garlick, Elizabeth George, Regan Haley, Emily Harrington, Andie Hollander, Sarah Hope, Emily Hoysan, Ellie Kozich, Sophia Manidis, Charlotte McElroy, Hannah Miller, Avery Peluszak, Abigail Stella, Kay Wiscount and Olivia Zeitler, completed a diverse and high‑performing roster.
