Princeton University’s men’s soccer program released its 2026 schedule on Tuesday, a slate that blends a demanding non‑conference road trip with a tightly packed Ivy League slate.
Opening the season at home
The Tigers will begin the campaign on August 28 with a home matchup against Villanova, followed by contests against Portland on August 31 and James Madison University on September 4.
A road‑heavy early stretch
After the early home games, Princeton travels to UMass Amherst on September 7, then takes on Albany on September 12 before a short trip to Rutgers on September 15 and a rematch with Bryant in Rhode Island on September 19.
The non‑conference portion wraps up with a home game against Seton Hall on September 22 and a road contest at Hofstra on October 6.
Ivy League showdown
Ivy League play opens on September 26 at Dartmouth, continues with a home fixture against Yale in early October, and proceeds through matches against Cornell on October 17, Brown on October 24, and a double‑header against Harvard and Penn in late October.
The regular season concludes on November 7, setting the stage for the Ivy League Tournament scheduled for November 12 and 15, with the top seed hosting the first round.
Princeton enters the season riding a historic unbeaten streak in league play from 2025, when the team went undefeated while conceding zero goals and secured its third straight Ivy Tournament title.
That campaign also earned the program a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament, the highest ever for an Ivy League side, and a final United Soccer Coaches ranking of eighth.
Head coach expressed confidence that the rigorous schedule will test the squad and sharpen it for postseason competition.
