Noah Sullivan, a graduate designated hitter for Mississippi State, has once again been crowned Division I Academic All-American of the Year, marking the second straight season he has earned this distinction.
Scholarship Meets Stardom
Sullivan graduated with a flawless 4.0 GPA, completing his master's degree in organizational leadership after previously earning another perfect academic record in workforce education leadership. His academic record places him among a select group of student‑athletes who excel both in the classroom and on the field.
On the diamond, Sullivan started 54 games as a designated hitter and three at first base, delivering a .342 batting average, 75 hits, 14 doubles, 13 home runs and 46 runs batted in. He also posted a team‑best .451 on‑base percentage and stole 10 bases in 12 attempts, while his .463 career on‑base percentage ranks third in school history for players with at least 300 at‑bats.
The accolades extend beyond statistics. Sullivan earned first‑team Academic All‑America honors for the second consecutive year, was selected to the All‑SEC first team, and received two‑time recognitions from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and the American Baseball Coaches Association. He joins 19 other Mississippi State players who have made the CSC Academic All‑America Team, earning the nickname "Diamond Dawg" for his consistent performance.
