A stacked home slate
The University of Tennessee has unveiled its men’s basketball schedule for the 2026‑27 season, a slate that promises a rigorous test from the outset.
Among the highlights, the Vols will welcome the top four teams from the SEC — Florida, Arkansas, Alabama and Vanderbilt — into the Thompson‑Boling Arena.
In addition, home games are slated against Georgia, Mississippi State and South Carolina, rounding out a competitive conference schedule.
The schedule also features a home‑and‑home series with Kentucky and Vanderbilt, while road trips will take the team to Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Texas.
Non‑conference matchups include a neutral‑site contest with North Carolina State at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Dec. 6, a visit to Purdue on Dec. 11, and a home game against Michigan State.
The season opens with the Players Era event in Las Vegas, where Tennessee will face Maryland on Nov. 24, followed by a SEC/ACC Challenge game against Florida State on Dec. 1.
Wynton Jackson is listed among the roster personnel as the team prepares for the upcoming campaign.
