Pascal Dupuis has been appointed director of player development for the New York Islanders, bringing a deep well of NHL experience to a front‑office role.
During a 15‑year career that spanned the Minnesota Wild, New York Rangers, Atlanta Thrashers and two Stanley Cup‑winning Pittsburgh Penguins squads, Dupuis logged more than 800 NHL appearances and captured championships in 2009 and 2016.
Known as the longtime linemate of Penguins captain Sidney Crosby, Dupuis earned a reputation for relentless work ethic and versatility, traits he now hopes to instill in the next generation of Islanders talent.
His coaching résumé includes a stint with the Shawinigan Cataractes of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League, where he served as director of player development and held partial ownership of the franchise.
