Rob Rassey Returns to Harvard as New Men’s Hockey Head Coach

Rob Rassey, a Michigan native and former associate head coach at the University of Michigan, has been appointed head coach of Harvard’s men’s ice hockey program, taking over from Ted Donato, the winningest coach in program history.

A Coach With a Championship Pedigree

During his four seasons with the Wolverines, Rassey helped the team capture two Big Ten tournament titles and reach three Frozen Four appearances, while also mentoring two Hobey Baker Award winners.

Harvard athletic director Erin McDermott highlighted Rassey’s deep belief in college athletics and his leadership qualities, noting his extensive experience both as a player and a coach.
