EA Sports has unveiled its latest college football simulation, College Football 27, and the numbers speak for themselves. The Oregon Ducks sit atop the rankings with a 91‑overall rating, a score that eclipses every other program in the virtual arena.
What makes the Ducks’ standing even more impressive is the balance of their virtual squad. Both the offensive and defensive units are rated at 91, and the defense earns the distinction of being the highest‑rated in the entire game, underscoring the team’s reputation for hard‑hitting play.
Oregon Ducks Set the Standard in Virtual Football
The excitement extends beyond the stats. Quarterback Dante Moore will grace the cover of both the standard and deluxe editions, marking the first time an Oregon player has been featured on a College Football title since Joey Harrington appeared on the 2002 cover. Moore’s presence signals a new chapter for the program’s digital representation.
Fans can preorder the title across multiple platforms, including Xbox, PlayStation and PC. The standard edition carries a $70 price tag, while the deluxe version bumps the cost to $100. A special bundle that pairs the deluxe edition with Madden 27 is priced at $150, offering a comprehensive football experience.
The game is slated for official release on July 9, with preorders of the deluxe edition granting three days of early access beginning on July 6. This staggered rollout gives early adopters a head start on building their virtual rosters and strategies.
