2026 Season Unveiled
Dartmouth College’s field hockey program announced its 2026 schedule on Wednesday, laying out a 16‑game slate that blends non‑conference challenges with a full Ivy League slate.
The campaign kicks off on the road at Boston University on September 6 at 1:00 p.m., a venue that has tested the Big Green in past seasons.
Coach Jason Klinkradt emphasized the mix of home‑field advantage and travel, noting that the team will host traditional rivals such as Harvard, Princeton and Yale while also testing itself against six opponents ranked in the nation’s Top 25.
Key home dates include a September 11 showdown with Merrimack at Chase Field, a September 13 matchup against Sacred Heart, and an Ivy League opener against Harvard on September 18 at 4 p.m. The schedule also features a mid‑season stretch at Maine on September 20 and a trip to face Columbia on October 4.
The Big Green will travel to take on Quinnipiac and Princeton on a road swing, then return home to host Vermont and UC Davis before concluding the regular season with a weekend series against Cornell and Bryant in late October. The final game of the season is slated for October 31 at Brown.
Overall, the 2026 schedule promises a rigorous test, with three NCAA tournament teams on the slate and a mix of high‑profile opponents that should prepare Dartmouth for postseason contention.
