Fox Cities Forge Set to Debut in September

Junior hockey expansion brings new ownership and partnership ambitions

Inaugural Season Preview

The Fox Cities Forge, a junior hockey franchise based in Appleton, Wisconsin, is slated to open its first season in September at the Appleton Family Ice Center.

Co‑owners Jeff Lindemann and Mark Mazzoleni, both seasoned figures in the regional hockey community, announced the team’s launch with optimism about its developmental mission.

Competing in the North American 3 Hockey League, the Forge will face off against clubs from across the continent while maintaining a partnership with the Janesville Jets of the NAHL.

The ownership group emphasized player development, aiming to prepare athletes for collegiate competition and eventual NAHL entry, acknowledging that early challenges are inevitable.

A full schedule is expected to be released in July, giving fans a chance to plan attendance as the team builds its identity on the ice.
