Kraken CEO Announces Audit Progress and Strategic Hires
Tod Leiweke, chief executive of the Seattle Kraken, revealed that a comprehensive audit conducted by the Sportsology Group has identified clear strengths and pinpointed specific areas where the franchise can sharpen its hockey operations.
The review, carried out by the independent Sportsology Group, praised the organization’s growing infrastructure while outlining targeted improvements in player development, scouting and operational efficiency.
New Leadership Roles
In response, the club announced three appointments that signal a focused effort to translate audit insights into on‑ice results. Patrik Allvin joins as assistant general manager, bringing a track record of player acquisition and contract negotiations. Pascal Vincent is slated to serve as an assistant coach, adding depth to the bench staff. Meanwhile, veteran defenseman Justin Schultz will contribute as a player development consultant, offering experience both on and off the rink.
Leiweke emphasized that the audit’s recommendations will be pursued through concrete actions and sustained investment, aiming to build a more competitive and resilient team in the years ahead.
The CEO concluded by stating that the organization will publicly report on its progress, ensuring that each step of the improvement plan is visible to fans and stakeholders alike.
