The 2026 baseball season will be remembered in Cheboygan for the standout performances of two of its most talented players, Nolan Schley and Josh Clark.
Schley, a junior who manned center field, posted a .292 batting average, drove in 12 runs and scored 18 times, while also providing solid defense that helped the team compete in a crowded conference.
Conference Honors and Individual Awards
Both athletes were selected to the all‑Northern Shores Conference first team, a testament to their impact on the field and their ability to elevate the team’s overall performance.
At the program’s end‑of‑season banquet, Schley was celebrated as the team’s most valuable player and its best offensive player, while Clark received the top defensive player award and the coaches’ award, underscoring his all‑around contributions.
