The Massachusetts Hockey community is celebrating the 2026 Phil Zona Sportsmanship Award recipients, a group of seven student‑athletes recognized for embodying the highest standards of respect, fair play and good sportsmanship.

Madelyn Glynn of Marlboro will continue her academic journey at Providence College, where she plans to pursue a nursing degree, and her coaches have praised her leadership that helped her team finish the season with a 23‑1‑0 record.

Alex Kojoian, a North Attleboro native, has committed to Wake Forest University to study finance, and his teammates highlighted the spirit that contributed to his squad earning the MIAA Team Sportsmanship Award.

Mary Lovett from Milton, who served as team manager while studying biology at the College of the Holy Cross, has volunteered more than 350 hours as a coach‑in‑training, demonstrating a deep commitment to giving back to younger players.

Thomas Massalski of Clinton will attend the Rochester Institute of Technology to blend business and engineering studies, and his volunteer work with the Red Cross and Meals on Wheels reflects a dedication to community service beyond the rink.

Kathryn McLean of Scituate, headed to Bryant University to major in business management, organized clothing drives, food donations and holiday gift initiatives for veterans, showcasing a compassionate spirit off the ice.
