JT Vogel Commits to Princeton Tigers Football Program

The multi‑sport star chooses Ivy League over other top collegiate offers

A Recruit's Decision

JT Vogel, a junior football star at Christian Brothers Academy in Albany, has officially committed to the Princeton Tigers football program.

Beyond his football prowess, Vogel helped lead the Brothers' basketball team to a Class AAA state championship and is recognized as a 6‑foot‑3 safety who recorded 67 tackles and three interceptions last season.

Vogel said his decision was driven by Princeton’s academic reputation and the opportunity to major in business, while also feeling a strong connection to the Ivy League campus.

Visiting the Ivies

The recruitment journey took him to several elite schools, including Dartmouth, Columbia, Yale, Cornell, UConn, Lehigh, New Hampshire, Davidson and the University at Albany, before he settled on Princeton over Dartmouth.

Now based in Bethlehem, Vogel is eager to see his team return to the top of the classification and to continue his dual‑sport ambitions at the collegiate level.
