Tim Perry Takes the Helm at White Knoll Baseball

A seasoned coach returns to high school roots with championship experience

A Fresh Coaching Direction

Tim Perry, a veteran of college and high school baseball, has been named the new head coach of the White Knoll Timberwolves, bringing a proven track record of championship contention and player development.

At Airport High, Perry compiled a 165‑96‑2 record and led the Eagles to two state championship games, capturing four region titles and four district crowns, a testament to his ability to build winning cultures.

His college journey included six years at Newberry College, Lander University, UNC Asheville and Temple University, where he was part of the 2006 Big South Championship team that delivered UNC Asheville’s first conference title.

Most recently, Perry served as an assistant at Coastal Carolina and as head coach at Winthrop, experiences that sharpened his recruiting acumen and tactical flexibility while working with top‑tier programs.

He now succeeds Dolan Crolley, who left to lead Blythewood’s program, and inherits a Timberwolves squad that posted a 5‑5 record in Region 4‑5A, the best regional finish in a decade.

White Knoll’s schedule places them in one of the state’s most competitive brackets, a challenge Perry embraces as he looks to translate his proven track record into sustained success.

Beyond the win‑loss column, Perry’s appointment signals a commitment to developing student‑athletes who can compete at the next level, a vision that aligns with the school’s growing emphasis on athletic excellence.
