Three Blue Devils earn spots in elite training squads ahead of upcoming international tournaments

Duke Women's Soccer Stars Selected for U.S. Youth National Team Camps

Three members of the Duke University women's soccer team have been named to the United States Youth National Team training camps that will take place in Fayetteville, Georgia, from June 25 through July 3. The invitations place Daya King, Rylee McLanahan and Natalie Chudowsky among the nation's top prospects as they prepare for the upcoming FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Poland.

King and McLanahan will join the under-19 squad, while Chudowsky is slated to train with the under-18 group. All 48 invited players are eligible for the international tournament scheduled for September in Poland, making the camp a critical stepping stone toward that competition.

King and McLanahan recently completed a stint in Germany, where they trained with the U-19 women's national team and played two matches against the host nation. Their exposure to high-level play abroad adds valuable experience to the upcoming camp.

Chudowsky brings a wealth of prior exposure, having competed at the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, underscoring her established role within the U.S. program.

Duke University highlighted the selections as a testament to the program's growing influence on the international stage, noting that the players will represent the Blue Devils in the next phase of development.
