The University of Louisville has released its 2026‑27 women’s basketball nonconference schedule, a 13‑game lineup that blends home dominance with a handful of demanding road tests.
Key matchups to watch
Nine of those contests will be played on the Cardinals’ home floor, beginning with a November 2 opener against Bellarmine and culminating with a much‑anticipated showdown against UConn on November 15, the final game of a four‑year series that Louisville won 78‑69 in 2019.
Road trips will take the team to Texas for the SEC/ACC Challenge, to the storied rivalry game at Kentucky, and to additional venues including Stetson, Lindenwood, Tennessee State, Akron, East Tennessee State, Eastern Kentucky and Northern Kentucky, plus a neutral‑site multiteam event and a stop in Southern Indiana.
Three of last season’s top four scorers — Taj Roberts, Imari Berry and Elif Istanbulluoglu — return, giving the squad continuity and a strong offensive foundation as they look to build on a 29‑win campaign.
With the ACC schedule still to be announced, the Cardinals are poised to use the nonconference slate as a proving ground as they aim for another strong season.
