Brady Bowen, a sophomore standout for the University of Kansas baseball program, has quickly become a headline name after being recognized on multiple All‑America lists for the 2026 season.
The College Baseball Foundation announced that Bowen earned an honorable mention on its 2026 All‑America squad, while the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association placed him on its third team, and the Freshman All‑America team also welcomed him on June 8.
At the plate, Bowen posted a .391 batting average across 40 appearances, delivering 36 hits that included seven doubles, three home runs and 21 runs batted in, while also drawing 15 walks and stealing eight bases.
On the mound, he logged 53.1 innings, surrendering only 53 hits and 28 earned runs en route to a 4.73 ERA, striking out 41 batters and limiting opponents to a .264 average.
Coached in Overland Park, Kansas, Bowen’s dual‑threat abilities have made him the third pitcher on his staff in ERA and a key offensive contributor, underscoring a promising trajectory for the young player.
A Dual‑Threat Freshman
The recognitions reflect not only his individual talent but also the growing competitiveness of collegiate baseball in the region, as highlighted by the College Baseball Foundation and the NCBWA, both of which cited his consistent performance and impact on the game.
