Logan Azar, a 15‑year‑old midfielder from Hudson, Massachusetts, has earned a spot on the roster for the fifth annual MLS NEXT All‑Star Game, a showcase that highlights the league’s most promising young talent.
A Milestone for the Revolution Academy
The exhibition match is scheduled for July 27 in Matthews, North Carolina, and will be streamed live on the MLS YouTube channel and MLSsoccer.com, giving fans across the country a chance to watch the next generation of soccer stars in action.
Azar’s selection follows a breakthrough spring in which he made his professional debut for the New England Revolution Academy, appearing for 45 minutes against Red Bull New York II. Since then, he has contributed five goals and six assists while competing with the under‑16 side in the 2025‑26 MLS NEXT season.
‘Logan’s maturity, consistency and professionalism set him apart,’ said Rob Becerra, the Revolution’s Director of Youth Development, underscoring the midfielder’s steady progression within the Academy’s development pathway.
The All‑Star Game will also feature familiar faces from the Academy’s recent history; Esmir Bajraktarević, who appeared in the 2022 edition, is currently representing Bosnia and Herzegovina at the FIFA World Cup, illustrating the pipeline that the Revolution has cultivated.
With seven Academy graduates now having earned All‑Star honors, the organization looks to continue its tradition of producing top‑level talent that can compete on both domestic and international stages.
