Austin Peay State University announced the creation of the Carolyn Yarbrough Memorial Scholarship Endowment, a financial tribute designed to support student managers who work behind the scenes for the university's men's and women's basketball teams. Carolyn Yarbrough spent more than 40 years championing Governors athletics, becoming the first woman ever inducted into the Red Coat Society and the first female president of the Governors Club. Her pioneering spirit opened doors for countless students and set a standard of generosity that continues to shape the campus community.
Jordan Harmon, Director of Athletics, praised Yarbrough's unwavering support, noting that her belief in the power of student‑athletes has left an indelible mark on the program.
