The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) has announced a three-year agreement to stage its men's and women's soccer tournaments at the newly expanded Lake Country Soccer Complex in Springfield, Missouri, beginning with the 2026 season.
Springfield to Host GLVC Soccer Championships for the Next Three Years
The complex, which will become the home field for Drury University's soccer programs, features a state-of-the-art artificial turf installed in 2025, modern dressing rooms, ample spectator seating and a parking lot designed to accommodate large crowds.
Previously, the tournaments were held at Creve Coeur Park Soccer Complex in St. Louis, where Drury's women's side captured its third GLVC Tournament title. The university has a longstanding reputation for organizing successful editions of the event, with both its men's and women's teams having lifted the trophy when the competition was staged in Springfield.
Nyla Milleson, Drury's Vice President and Director of Athletics, said the partnership represents "an exciting opportunity to create an outstanding environment for the tournaments and to showcase the university's growing soccer culture."
The 2026 tournament will bring together four teams from each bracket, who will compete in semifinal matches before the championship game, promising high-stakes competition and a vibrant atmosphere for players and fans alike.
