Jo Griffin has been appointed to the role of assistant coach and director of basketball performance for Bellarmine University's men's basketball team, a move that consolidates his four‑year tenure as head sports performance coach within the program.

Griffin brings a blend of playing experience and technical expertise, having competed at Kentucky Wesleyan College and the University of Louisville before embarking on a coaching trajectory that includes graduate assistantships at Indiana University and the University of Evansville.
His academic background includes a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Kentucky Wesleyan and a master's in leadership innovation from the University of Evansville, while professional certifications from the National Strength & Conditioning Association, the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and USA Weightlifting underscore his commitment to evidence‑based training.
