The Rankings
When EA Sports released its preseason rankings for College Football 27, Duce Robinson’s name appeared at No. 4 in the nation, a testament to a 2025 campaign that left little doubt about his impact on Florida State’s offense.
Robinson finished the season with 56 receptions for 1,081 yards and six touchdowns, earning First Team All‑ACC honors and helping the Seminoles lead the ACC in both total offense and rushing offense.
Rather than cashing in on the NFL Draft, the standout receiver elected to remain in Tallahassee for a fifth year, a decision that has injected continuity into the team’s plans.
The offense will be anchored by new quarterback Ashton Daniels, who is expected to forge a dynamic connection with Robinson as the Seminoles look to rebound from a disappointing record.
Beyond the personal milestones, Robinson will represent Florida State at the ACC Kickoff event in Charlotte, North Carolina, on July 15, where he will join teammates and coaches in previewing the upcoming season.
Another emerging threat in the Seminoles’ receiving corps is Micahi Danzy, whose explosive playmaking ability added a new dimension to the team’s attack in 2025.
Coaches and analysts alike are optimistic that the blend of Robinson’s experience, Daniels’ arm strength, and Danzy’s speed could finally translate into the winning season the program has been chasing.
