The Houghton High School hockey program is gearing up for a landmark celebration as it marks the fifth anniversary of its 2026 Division 3 state championship.
A Milestone Celebration
On July 18, alumni from every era will converge at the MacInnes Student Ice Arena for three distinct alumni games that showcase the talent and camaraderie that defined the championship season.
The schedule features the Gremlins taking the ice at 1 p.m., a 30‑and‑over cohort at 2:30 p.m., and an 18‑and‑over squad at 4 p.m., each group given its own slot to compete and reminisce.
Admission to all games is free, and fans of the program are encouraged to attend and cheer on the participants as they recreate the magic of the title‑winning campaign.
Reception and Community Engagement
Following the final game, a reception will be held at Dee Stadium, providing a relaxed setting for alumni, families, and supporters to mingle, share stories, and enjoy light refreshments.
