PCM Teams Triumph in Midweek Doubleheader
The PCM baseball and softball teams each walked away with victories on Wednesday, handing South Hamilton a 7‑3 loss on the diamond and an 8‑0 defeat in five innings on the softball field.
In the baseball game, Jaden Houser turned in a solid three‑inning outing, surrendering just one earned run while walking five batters and scattering three hits. Roston McCarty earned the win, tossing four shutout innings, allowing a single hit and striking out seven. Offensively, Landon Siedlecki powered the lineup with a 2‑for‑3 performance that included a home run, a single and three RBI, helping the team improve to 15‑5 overall.
The softball squad, led by Libby Winters, who pitched four innings without allowing a run and recorded ten strikeouts, rolled past South Hamilton 8‑0. The win lifts the softball team to a 16‑3 record as they look to keep the momentum going.
