The Southeastern Conference has released the 2026‑27 men’s basketball schedule, revealing a demanding slate of nine home matchups for the University of Georgia.
Home opponents bring a mix of tradition and ranking
Georgia will host Florida, Texas and Kentucky among others, while also welcoming LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma and South Carolina. Each of these contests will take place at Stegeman Coliseum and is expected to draw strong crowds as the Bulldogs look to improve on a 4‑4 record in conference play the previous season.
Coach Mike White and his staff have emphasized that the home schedule is an opportunity to build momentum, noting that victories against top‑25 opponents could shift the team’s trajectory heading into the latter half of the season.
SEC play on the horizon
Conference competition officially begins on January 2 and will run through March 6, with the league promising to announce specific game dates, tipoff times and television assignments in the coming weeks.
