Honoring the State's Best
The 2026 All-State baseball selections have been unveiled, showcasing the premier talent from Oregon's high school ranks across six divisions. The lists, which include first-team, second-team and third-team honorees as well as honorable mentions, were compiled in partnership with the Oregon High School Baseball Coaches Association, underscoring a collaborative effort to celebrate the sport's rising stars.
In Class 6A, South Salem's Teagan Scott earned the prestigious title of Player of the Year, while West Linn's Jack Frishman was named Pitcher of the Year. West Linn's own Joe Monahan received Coach of the Year honors, reflecting a dominant season for the Lions. The trio highlighted a competitive landscape where individual excellence intertwined with team success.
Class 5A recognized Malakai Chandler of Ashland as a first-team selection, cementing his status among the state's elite. Moving down to Class 4A, Gianni Lombardi from Marist Catholic captured the Player of the Year award, complemented by Logan Law of Hidden Valley earning Pitcher of the Year and Noah Breslaw being honored as Coach of the Year.
The lower divisions also delivered memorable performances. Henry Wort from Blanchet Catholic was named Class 3A Player of the Year, with Zack Hankins of Taft taking Pitcher of the Year and Steve Stebbins from South Umpqua/Days Creek receiving Coach of the Year. In the 2A/1A bracket, Miles Lute from Crosshill Christian emerged as Player of the Year, while Tyson Smith of Country Christian/North Clackamas Christian and Jake Sproul from Myrtle Point shared Pitcher of the Year honors. Ben Northup from Crosshill Christian was celebrated as Coach of the Year for that division.
These selections not only spotlight individual achievement but also reflect the depth of baseball talent across Oregon's diverse communities. As the state looks ahead to the next season, the honored players and coaches set a high bar for performance, promising continued excitement for fans and aspiring athletes alike.
