A Strategic Partnership for Youth Athletics
The Parsippany Police Athletic League (PAL) has announced a new partnership with RedTails Travel Baseball & Softball, a move that promises to reshape the landscape of youth sports in the town.
Under the agreement, PAL will serve as the home base for the RedTails program, offering its facilities, administrative support and community connections to a travel organization that has quickly gained momentum since its inception.
Year‑Round Development for Local Athletes
RedTails was founded earlier this year by Danny Noriega, a former player turned coach who saw a gap in year‑round competition for kids aged seven to twelve. His vision is now materializing with the PAL’s backing, giving the program a stable platform to grow.
Nicholas Bronzino, Executive Director of the Parsippany PAL, explained that the collaboration is designed to complement existing Little League structures rather than compete with them. “Our goal is to provide additional training, clinics and tournaments that fill the off‑season void,” he said.
Bronzino also highlighted the PAL’s evaluation process, which matches each player with the most appropriate environment for skill development and long‑term success.
The inaugural season of RedTails is slated for 2025 and will feature more than 50 participants across the 7U through 12U age groups. The program promises a full calendar of practices, regional tournaments and exposure to college scouts.
Danny Noriega expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, noting that the alliance will keep children engaged in baseball and softball within the Parsippany community while offering higher‑level competition.
A Unified Future for Parsippany Sports
Both leaders agree that the collaboration could serve as a model for other municipalities seeking to unify fragmented travel sports organizations under a single, supportive umbrella.
