A roster built for depth and versatility
Troy University's women's soccer team has completed its 2026 roster, confirming the addition of five transfer players who will bolster the squad across every position.
The new arrivals bring a blend of high‑school dominance, international experience and collegiate grit, setting the stage for a competitive season ahead.
Among them, forward Emme Curran arrives from Holly Springs, North Carolina, where she netted 41 goals and dished out 21 assists, showcasing a knack for finding the back of the net.
Defender Jamie Doust, a native of North Vancouver, Canada, comes with a reputation as a team captain and a stint in the Team British Columbia Provincial Program, bringing leadership and defensive solidity.
Midfielder Iisa Elovaara, who grew up in Richmond, Virginia, made her senior debut with the Finland U18 side, adding creative flair and a global perspective to the midfield.
Defender Madisyn Marchesi, hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, contributed to a back line that recorded seven shutouts last season, underscoring her reliability at the rear.
Goalkeeper Alice Russell, originally from Milton Keynes, England, posted a 0.55 goals‑against average and a .730 save percentage while logging 30 saves, and she previously wore the colors of Tottenham Hotspur's U21 side.
The coaching staff believes the new transfers will increase competition for places and add depth as the program looks to contend in the upcoming campaign.
