The early lead they had built slipped away in the sixth inning when defensive miscues allowed Hyannis to close the gap, turning a 4-0 advantage into a tense contest.

Brock Ketelsen delivered a two-run double in the eighth, shifting momentum and underscoring his .348 average that has defined his first ten games at the plate.
His defensive instincts also shone in right field, where he made a near‑catch on a foul ball that kept the pressure on the opposition.
Veteran pitcher Andrew Wright, inserted by manager Scott Pickler despite the earlier error, shut down the side with six strikeouts over the final three innings, preserving the lead.
