Three Rivers League Announces 2026 All‑League Baseball Honorees
The Three Rivers League unveiled its 2026 all‑league baseball teams this week, spotlighting the standout athletes who helped shape a competitive season across its member schools.
Jaden Tragesser of Lakeridge was crowned Player of the Year, capping a season in which he combined a .420 batting average with clutch performances in the outfield. Meanwhile, Tualatin’s right‑hander Trenton Hertzog earned Pitcher of the Year after posting a 1.85 ERA and 85 strikeouts over 60 innings.
First‑team honors were distributed across the league, with infielders Ryan Hemsley, Hank Curdy, Mehki Pressley and Zach Baker joining Tragesser on the lineup, while outfielders Tyler Holmes, Calen Simonelic, Andrew Ha, Caden Klouda and Hunter Grubb rounded out the squad. Catchers Gavin Thaut and Graham Bayless also earned first‑team nods, and the pitching staff featured Jack Frishman, Hertzog, Merik Adler and Ethan Chan.
Hertzog’s versatility extended to utility, as he was selected as the first‑team utility player, underscoring his impact both on the mound and at the plate.
Coach Jake Austin of Tualatin was recognized as Coach of the Year, a testament to his guidance in securing a league‑best record and fostering player development.
The second team selections highlighted emerging talent, with Ryder Lemm, Owen Hagerman, Caden Gerritz and Sloan Baker earning infield spots, while Braden Robinson was the sole catcher named to the second team. Pitchers Kell VanDeHey, Ben Fong, Jackson Ashley and Beckett Heher joined Landon Hartman as relief standouts.
Honorable mentions rounded out the recognition, with Lakeridge’s Rylan Metz earning a designated‑hitter nod and a host of other players receiving nods for their contributions.
