The University of Wisconsin Badgers have filled all 13 scholarship slots for the class of 2027, a milestone that represents the highest number of in-state signees since the 2011 recruiting cycle. The commitment list includes a blend of seasoned prospects and emerging talents, underscoring the program’s growing appeal across Wisconsin.

According to the 247Sports composite, the class currently holds the No. 15 spot nationally, bolstered by several four-star recruits such as running back Kingston Allen, tight end Korz Loken and offensive lineman Cole Reiter. On3/Rivals’ Industry composite rankings also place Wisconsin at No. 24, reflecting five four-star commits.
Coach Luke Fickell attributes the surge to a clear vision for the program’s growth and the relentless efforts of his staff in cultivating relationships within the state. ‘We’ve built confidence in our direction, and the staff’s work on the ground has paid off,’ Fickell said.
The most recent addition, Amery linebacker Keaton Wollan, flipped his commitment from Iowa State, highlighting the pull of staying home and the program’s ability to attract top talent away from rival schools. Other notable in-state prospects include Aiden Dirksen, Reece Mallinger and Hunter Mallinger, each bringing distinct skill sets to the roster.
