EA Sports College Football 27 has rolled out the first set of player ratings for twelve Notre Dame freshmen, offering a glimpse into how the game envisions the contributions of the program’s No. 2 recruiting class in the 2026 cycle.
The ratings dissect six core attributes — speed, strength, agility, change of direction, injury durability and awareness — to paint a detailed picture of each rookie’s projected on‑field impact.
Standout Freshmen
Among the newcomers, running back Javian Osborne and cornerback Khary Adams lead the group with an 82 overall rating, the highest score awarded to any freshman in the release.
Quarterback Teddy Jarrard sits at 70 overall, while punters Jasper Scaife and Noah Grubbs share a 72 rating. The offensive line sees Ayden Pouncey and Charlie Thom both at 75, with Grayson McKeogh edging up to 77.
Defensive tackle Elijah Golden climbs to 78, and a quartet of skill players — tight end Ian Premer, safety Joey O’Brien, running back Jonaz Walton and edge rusher Rodney Dunham — each register an 81 overall rating, just shy of the top duo.
Notably, several of the freshmen remain without an assigned rating in the current version, underscoring the selective nature of the game’s early player modeling.
