Ferris State University’s men’s ice hockey program is gearing up for a landmark celebration as it hosts its 40th annual Bulldog Hockey Alumni Golf Outing on August 1 at the Katke Golf Course on campus.

The tournament, which has become a staple fundraiser for the hockey program, offers participants a four‑person scramble format, a full day of golf, cart rentals, dinner and refreshments for a $150 fee per player.
Early registration has historically driven the event to sell out within days, with recent years seeing record‑breaking crowds and a full house for the competition’s three divisions.
A special nine‑hole shotgun start is scheduled for 9 a.m. Eastern Time, followed by lunch and dinner, while a wide array of raffle prizes will be awarded throughout the day.
Sponsorship opportunities are available, allowing companies or former players to purchase a hole for $100, while those unable to attend can support the program through membership in the Blueline Club.
