Camp Overview
The Colorado Avalanche revealed the full slate of talent that will take part in the 2026 Development Camp, a three‑day event that draws the organization’s most promising prospects and a handful of invited try‑outs. The camp serves as a key evaluation point for the team’s player development staff as they shape the roster for the upcoming season.
A total of 27 skaters will be on the ice, broken down into 11 forwards, 12 defensemen and four goaltenders. Among them, 15 have been drafted by the Avalanche, while the remainder are additional invitees who earned the opportunity to showcase their abilities in front of coaches and staff.
The camp will be held at the Family Sports Center in Centennial, Colorado, from June 30 through July 2. Admission is free and open to the public, giving fans a chance to watch the next generation of Avalanche players in action and get a first look at the team’s evolving identity.
Beyond the on‑ice work, the camp underscores the Avalanche’s commitment to community engagement and talent development. By hosting the event in a public venue, the organization aims to inspire young hockey enthusiasts across the region while providing a transparent glimpse into the professional development process.
