Maryland’s 2002 Basketball Champions to be Inducted into the Washington DC Sports Hall of Fame
The Washington DC Sports Hall of Fame will honor the 2001‑02 Maryland men's basketball team, the only NCAA champions in school history, alongside five other sports legends in a ceremony at Nationals Park on August 30, 2026.
