Honeycutt’s Breakout Year Earns Top State Baseball Honors
Tavis Honeycutt, a Newberry junior committed to the University of Florida, placed fourth in the 2026 Florida Mr. Baseball voting while earning Class 2A Player of the Year honors, as Gio Rojas secured the overall award and Nick Borthwick was celebrated as Coach of the Year.
