Spokane Valley Unveils Fresh Sports Amenities at Balfour Park
Spokane Valley’s Balfour Park has completed a major sports facility upgrade, adding four pickleball courts, a full basketball court, two half‑court spaces, modern lighting and a multi‑zone sound system, funded by $6 million in grants and city money. The improvements serve a nearby community of 13,000 residents with below‑average incomes, and future projects include a playground, splash pad and outdoor amphitheater slated for 2027.
