Scripps Sports Rebrands as ‘The Spot – South Florida 39’ Ahead of Panthers Coverage
Scripps Sports, the regional broadcaster that has carried Florida Panthers games for years, is undergoing a rebrand. Starting this season the channel will operate under the name “The Spot - South Florida 39.” The new moniker is accompanied by a refreshed visual identity and an expanded slate of sports programming, aimed at giving viewers more live action and analysis. Despite the makeover, the core promise remains unchanged: Panthers games will continue to be available to fans across South Florida at no cost. The network will still deliver the same local programming that residents have come to rely on for pre‑game shows, post‑game recaps and community coverage. Fans can also look forward to the upcoming release of the 2026‑27 Panthers schedule, which is slated to be announced in the coming weeks. The schedule will outline broadcast times, special events and any additional programming tied to the rebranded channel.
