The 2026 All-Morning Sun baseball teams have been unveiled, spotlighting the finest talent from mid-Michigan and honoring those who shaped a memorable season.
At the center of the celebration is Nate Siler of Sacred Heart, who was crowned Player of the Year after posting an 11-1 record, a 0.614 ERA and 115 strikeouts, while also delivering power at the plate.
Coach of the Year: Earl Hartman
Sacred Heart’s head coach Earl Hartman earned Coach of the Year honors after guiding his squad to a 38-4-1 record and a state championship, a testament to his strategic acumen and leadership.
Other standouts include Brady Davis, also from Sacred Heart, who finished his career as the program’s all-time wins leader with a 10-2 record, a 0.60 ERA and 85 strikeouts, and Hank MacDonald, whose 59 RBIs set a new school record.
Parker Billings of Fulton contributed a .583 batting average and an 8-1 mound record that helped the Pirates reach the regional championship game, while Will McClintic from Beal City batted .452 and provided consistent offense.
The depth of talent continued with Cuyler Smith of Beal City (.518 average), Noah Zeien (.488 average and 41 stolen bases), and Hunter Richter of Chippewa Hills (.400 average), each playing pivotal roles in their teams’ successes.
Additional offensive weapons such as Brady Robinson (.421), Teegan Duffy (.391), Mason Bogart (.449 with 122 strikeouts) and Bryson Sattler (6-2, 2.14 ERA, .388 average) rounded out a league-wide parade of standout performances.
Honoring the Rest of the Field
The All-Morning Sun selections also recognized coaches, named second-team players and listed honorable mentions, ensuring that the breadth of achievement across the region was fully acknowledged.
Schools represented include Sacred Heart, Fulton, Beal City, Chippewa Hills, Shepherd, Montabella, Farwell, Vestaburg, Ithaca, Breckenridge, Coleman and Alma, each contributing to the rich tapestry of high school baseball in the area.
