The Courier & Press has released its 2026 All‑Southwestern Indiana baseball team, a showcase of the region’s top high school talent that has captured the attention of players, coaches and fans alike.
A Season of Excellence
Junior catcher Cooper Collins from Vincennes Lincoln turned heads with a .471 batting average, 30 RBIs and a career total that now exceeds one hundred hits, earning him the SIAC Player of the Year honor and a spot on the first team.
Senior pitcher Jake Mazzier of Gibson Southern closed the season at 8‑2 with a 1.33 ERA and 98 strikeouts, a performance that propelled his club to its first regional championship in twelve years.
Guided by Coach Bobby Segal, the Titans finished the year 27‑7, captured an outright PAC title and advanced to the state Final Four, a feat that secured Segal the Courier & Press Coach of the Year award.
