The 2026 Cape Cod Baseball League concluded its season with a ceremony that highlighted the league’s most outstanding performers and celebrated teams that exemplified excellence both on and off the field.

Tyler Smolinski of the Harwich Mariners was crowned the league’s Most Valuable Player after delivering a .313 average over 37 games, ranking second in runs scored with 27 and topping the league in hits with 42. His on‑base plus slugging percentage of .935, six home runs and nine doubles underscored a breakout year that made him the first Mariner to earn the honor since 2016.

Andrew Costello of the Bourne Braves was named Batting Champion, posting a .361 average and 35 hits, while Truitt Webb of the Hyannis Harbor Hawks received the Russ Ford Award for Outstanding Relief Pitcher with a 2.55 ERA and 0.68 WHIP.

Rob Rispoli of the Chatham Anglers was honored with the Daniel J. Silva Award for Sportsmanship, recognizing his exemplary conduct, and Matt Karas of the Bourne Braves earned the John Wylde General Manager of the Year accolade for his contributions to league operations. Finally, Brendan Murphy was named Umpire of the Year, receiving the Robert ‘Curley’ Clement Award for his professionalism and integrity.
