Brackets Unveiled for 2026 FHSAA Baseball Playoffs
The Florida High School Athletic Association announced the 2026 state baseball tournament brackets, setting the stage for a series of regional contests that will culminate in Fort Myers. The schedule was released ahead of the opening round games, giving teams and fans a clear path toward the championship.
Opening round games are slated for April 24 for Classes 4A through 7A and for April 25 for Classes 1A through 3A. Each series will be played as a best‑of‑three, allowing teams a chance to adjust after an initial setback before fighting back in the decisive game.
The Rural Class will open its regional semifinals on May 1, after which the winners will advance through additional best‑of‑three matchups. This format ensures that only the most resilient teams progress toward the final stage of the tournament.
All tournament paths converge on Lee County, where the State Championship Event will be held in Fort Myers. The championship game will bring together the top teams from across the state to determine the 2026 champions.
Fans can purchase digital tickets for every playoff game through GoFan, which will handle ticketing for the entire tournament. The online platform provides a convenient way for supporters to attend games in person or follow the action remotely.
The FHSAA, headquartered in Gainesville, continues to oversee and regulate interscholastic athletics throughout Florida. In addition to managing competitions, the association recognizes academic achievement among student‑athletes at more than 850 schools statewide.
