The 2026 HighSchoolOT All‑State Boys Basketball Team has been announced, spotlighting the elite senior talent from across North Carolina.
Eligibility required players to represent schools belonging to the state’s four largest athletic associations and to have completed no more than four years of high school.
Team structure and honors
The roster is divided into first, second and third teams, each comprising fifteen athletes, while an Honorable Mention list adds another thirty names for those who narrowly missed the cut.
At the center of the announcement stands Dionte Neal of Reidsville, who earned a place on the first team for the fourth consecutive year, becoming the first player in the program’s history to achieve that distinction.
Neal’s senior season featured averages of 34.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 8.4 assists, 6.2 steals and 0.7 blocks per game, numbers that helped his team secure a 26‑2 record and a state championship.
Other standouts include Jyi Dawkins from Ben L. Smith, a senior who posted 32.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game, and Jordan Page from Broughton, a junior who contributed 19.8 points and 9.9 rebounds.
The full list also features King Kendrick of Caldwell Academy, Jaxon Dollar of East Lincoln, and Kobe Edwards from Greenfield School, each bringing distinctive skill sets to the mix.
The recognition is made possible through a partnership between HighSchoolOT, Talk It Out NC and First Carolina Bank, organizations that have long supported high school athletics in the region.
